Building a Better Custom Jersey Experience

When I started Outdoor Technologies, I wanted to take a new approach to jersey design and manufacturing. I started off exactly where you are — as a customer. I was responsible for ordering custom jerseys for corporate pro staff to help promote our brand. The exposure a company could get from being on an angler’s jersey and the visibility it provides to consumers astounded me. I always had issues with my orders arriving on time.  They were incorrect when they finally came.  Most frustrating was the fact that no company seemed to truly care. After using multiple companies and having the same basic experience, I actually stopped taking advantage of that type of promotion. At that point, I decided to start looking into the custom apparel industry to see if I could come up with a better way.

Communicating with Customers is our Top Priority

We begin by offering an easy and convenient ordering process online.  This allows our customers to understand the ordering process and enter their information at their convenience.  This also assures we get accurate, error free information.  Our Customer Care Specialist, Ashley, is available to give guidance and offer assistance to our customers.

Investing in Fishing's Future

The result is that at OT, we do more than just make jerseys; we help anglers and companies use our jerseys as a true marketing tool.  We believe that young anglers are our industry's future, and we are committed to helping high schools and colleges create a distinct design that brings awareness to their school and to the sponsors who help them out.

Committed to Being the Best

We are committed to giving customers the very best customer service.  We were customers first and we understand what customers want.  We don't want to be the biggest custom jersey manufacturer, just the best.

More Fishing!

Tournament fishing is expensive and pros rely on their sponsors to help shoulder that cost. Fishermen want to fish and more dynamic visibility means happy sponsors which = More Fishing! Companies sponsor pros to ensure their visibility to the consumer market. The more a company sees their logo displayed in a distinctive way and the more that boosts the company's visibility, the happier they are, which = More Fishing!

Fishing for the Future

College and high school teams need sponsors to help pay for tournament fees and other expenses that schools don’t necessarily have the funds to cover. A team needs to be able to establish a unique look for their school while still showcasing the team’s sponsors who help with the financial burden of competing. If they can do this, they will have the ability to acquire more sponsors which = More Fishing!

Raising Awareness

There are a great deal of organizations and foundations that use the fishing industry to raise money and awareness for their foundations and host tournaments to raise money for issues like skin cancer, spinal injuries, and more. If they had the ability to work with a company that took the time and listened to what they wanted to accomplish, apparel could bring visibility to the foundation or event which would mean more support and, yes, More Fishing!
